Welcome! 

My name is Ashley, and I am a writer, retired English teacher, and mom. I grew up in Miami but now live in Central Florida. When I'm not reading or writing, I'm likely on a walk, thinking about what to write next. 

My husband coined me the Arrogant Baker, because I always try to make something in the best way possible. This is mostly because I strongly dislike fake food, and unfortunately, lots of desserts have lots of fake stuff in them. Basically, I avoid consuming food that isn't food or calories that aren't seriously worth it.

Besides sharing some of my recipes here, I like to write about... whatever I like to write about, including books, tv & movies, holiday things, DIY things, and travel.
